I’ve been watching a video with Dr. Richard Wolff that lays out what many of us already sense: a tsunami is coming for the job market.

Dr. Wolff's words aren't fearmongering. They're a signal.

We can stand on the beach, hoping it won’t hit us, or move to higher ground, prepare, and adapt.

(And whether you agree with Wolff or not isn’t the point. Denying the possibility? That’s standing on the beach.)

Here’s one way to prepare:

✅ Learn how to earn online through project-based work. Clients around the world need help with tasks, support, and content. If you have experience, you likely already have marketable skills.

This doesn’t have to replace your full-time job. But it can:

➡️ Supplement your income ➡️ Subsidize your lifestyle ➡️ Backstop your finances

If you’re 50-60+ and plan to keep earning for 5–20 more years, knowing how to navigate online platforms—and the algorithms that run them—isn’t just “nice to know.” It’s a valuable, future-ready skill.

You don’t have to wait for the wave. You can learn something new now.

If you already have enough to last through your 80s and beyond—living the lifestyle you want—this may not be for you.

But if you don’t have enough, aren’t sure, and crave engagement, purpose, and accomplishment?

Learning this skill may be precisely what you’ve been looking for. Options make the difference between smiling and crying.
